This song originally appears on the album "Fairy's Love Song," (see store page.) It is an old traditional Scottish song about returning home. I wanted to put a more mystical spin on it so I kept the original Scottish Gaelic chorus but rewrote the verses to be about a faerie finding her way home.
Harmonies by Kellianna as part of our duo Lady Moon.
lyrics
Lost and alone, all on my own
To find my way, to the light of a new day
On winds I am tossed
But all is not lost, I will find my way home
Searching for meaning, doubting, dreaming
Through the night, a light beaming
To guide me on, help me be strong
Enough to find my way home
Bridge: Tears are falling, shadows are calling
Storms battered, life shattered
I must fly above to all that I love
And feel joy pulling me home
To the mist-covered mountains of home
Oh chi, chi mi na morbheanna,
Oh chi, chi mi na corbheanna,
Oh chi, chi mi na correachan
Chi mi na scorran fo cheow
Star-filled nights, gentle Summerlands
Folks speak in magic I understand
Laughing, dancing, warmly take my hand
And welcome me home
Floating, falling, soaring
Shapeshifting and transforming
My heart I must trust
Bravery roaring
I will find my way home
Bridge: Misty veils part in the distance
To show to me all I envisioned
Beyond fears that once imprisoned
I have found my way home
To the mist-covered mountains of home
Oh chi, chi mi na morbheanna,
Oh chi, chi mi na corbheanna,
Oh chi, chi mi na correachan
Chi mi na scorran fo cheow, chi mi na scorran fo cheow

I walked away from playing music ten years ago, disgusted with music and myself. SJ Tucker's songs have played no small part in bringing me back in a truly strange yet beautiful way. The blisters on my fingers and the gloom in my heart are nearly healed. I sat down my new acoustic guitar to write a comment about some heavy medicine and now I'm going to get back to my therapy. I can't thank you enough SJ! Keep up the good work! roddylloyd
